About Passion Driven Foundation (PDF-GH)
Empowering children, girls, women, and vulnerable communities in Yendi and across northern Ghana through education, leadership, and sustainable development.

How it began
Passion Driven Foundation was born in Yendi, a historical town in the Northern Region of Ghana. Recognizing severe challenges in book access, school retention, and economic inequality, a group of local visionaries came together with a shared conviction: education and grassroots empowerment are the ultimate drivers of human dignity.
Our work began under the shade of a tree, bringing children together for informal reading sessions. As families saw their children flourish, community elders and teachers joined hands with us. From those humble reading circles under the sun, PDF-GH has grown into a multi-faceted development organization spanning 13 critical thematic areas — from STEM education and girl child protection to agricultural livelihoods and health.
Today, we remain deeply rooted in Yendi. Our leaders, staff, and volunteers are local champions who live in the communities we serve, speak the languages, and understand the cultural fabric needed to create lasting, generational change.
Formally registered and operating in the Yendi Municipal District, PDF-GH collaborates closely with local traditional authorities, Ghana Education Service (GES) district officers, and community welfare committees.
